We specialise in diagnosing rising damp, penetrating damp, dry rot, wet rot, woodworm, hygroscopic salt contamination and black mould issues in various types of buildings. Our cavity wall tie and insulation surveys comply with recommendations set out in BRE 401. Building Research Digest 401 was published in 1995 and contains official guidance for surveyors tasked with making decisions on wall tie corrosion and condition.

In addition to conducting surveys on modern residential properties, we adhere to the BS7913:2013 standards. This standard is designed for individuals who own, utilise, occupy, or manage traditionally built structures and is applicable for decision-makers and funding bodies.

We are also Certified Surveyors of Dampness in Buildings, which ensures that our reports are recognised by banks and building societies.

ACB Surveys Ltd is an independent property surveying company, unaffiliated with any remedial works companies or builders. Thus, we have no financial interest in any remedial works that may be recommended following our inspection surveys.
